karenza #1 Posts: 1 Offline 12.07.2010, 10:59:15 Good and Bad Music in TV ads and Movies There has been a TV ad here in the UK recently for "Britain’s Next Top Model" which had a great bit of music backing it. I didn’t have a clue at first who was singing it, but found the song by doing a search of the lyrics with the good old internet. The track is "Death by Diamonds and Pearls" by Band of Skulls. It’s really great and I managed to find some more of their tracks on youtube. So far I haven’t heard a bad song from them. They’re kind of raw driving guitar based rock which sounds cool both on their rocky stuff and softer songs. There are only 3 members of the group - a guy and girl vocalist who both also play guitar, and a drummer, but the sound they make together is amazing with a great raw vocal style from both the guy and girl. It got me wondering, have you found any great groups or bits of music from TV ads or movies?
